Come, Holy Spirit
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.
V. Send forth Thy Spirit, and they shall be created;
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth. LET US PRAY.
O God, who didst teach the hearts of Thy faithful people by sending them the light of Thy Holy Spirit, grant us
by the same Spirit to have right judgement in all things, and evermore to rejoice in His holy comfort. Through Christ Our Lord. Amen
O Holy Spirit, sweet Guest of my soul, abide in me and grant that I may ever abide in Thee.
Our Lady helps us to make good use of time. Just as a flower has a short time to bloom and then fades, our time here on earth is short. It is particularly hard to understand this when we are young. Our whole life stands before us, and time seems our friend. Yet wasted time is something that cannot be undone. We can only go forward and resolve anew to do better. But what if from a tender age Our Lady was by your side? What if she was forming you in holiness and gently guiding you to make use of your gifts given by God for His glory? How happy a soul will be in the sunset of life to look back and see a life lived to the fullest from childhood! Such is a great grace to those who have devotion to Mary from youth.
Goal: Our Lady helps us to make good use of our time.
